- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- For the Filling:

- 2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- For the Icing:
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–3 tablespoons milk (adjust for consistency)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, mix the sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and yeast mixture. Gradually add the flour, 1 cup at a time, until the dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface into a 16×21-inch rectangle. Spread the softened butter over the dough.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle it evenly over the buttered dough.
- Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 even rolls. Place the rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While the rolls are baking, prepare the icing by mixing the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
- Spread the icing over the warm cinnamon rolls. Serve and enjoy!
