Instructions
1. Prepare the Chicken:
- Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
- Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Grill or cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, until it’s fully cooked through and has an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
2. Toast the Bread:
- In a separate skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Place the slices of bread in the skillet and toast until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
3. Assemble the Sandwich:
- Spread mayonnaise on one slice of each toasted bread and Dijon mustard on the other.
- Layer the sliced chicken on one slice of bread, followed by sliced avocado and a slice of cheese.
- Top with the second slice of bread, mustard side down.
4. Melt the Cheese:
