Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 sausage links, sliced (preferably smoked or andouille)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients:
Peel and devein the shrimp. Slice the sausage into rounds and chop the broccoli into florets.Cook the Sausage:
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the sausage from the pan and set aside.Sauté the Broccoli:
In the same skillet, add another 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add the broccoli florets and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until slightly tender. Season with salt and pepper, then remove the broccoli and set aside.Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Pour the sauce over the shrimp in the skillet and stir to coat evenly. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken slightly.Combine and Serve:
Return the cooked sausage and broccoli to the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!
