- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- For the Crisp Topping:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

- Pour the pumpkin filling into the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, oats, and cinnamon. Add the melted butter and stir until the mixture becomes crumbly. Fold in the chopped pecans if using.
- Evenly sprinkle the crisp topping over the pumpkin filling.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is set.
- Let the pumpkin crisp cool for about 15 minutes before serving. Enjoy it warm, and optionally top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- You can substitute pumpkin pie spice with a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves if you don’t have a pre-made blend.
- Add chopped pecans or walnuts to the topping for a little extra crunch and flavor.
- This dessert pairs wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra touch of indulgence.
