Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 ½ cups rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ cup chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
- ¼ cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.Mix Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, milk, egg, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined.Add Dry Ingredients:
Stir in the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until fully mixed.Fold in Chocolate Chips & Nuts:
Gently fold in the chocolate chips and nuts (if using).Bake:
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until set and golden brown.Cool & Serve:
